Charlotte’s fastest and friendliest lunch service is right here at The Gavel. We give our customers not only excellent food, but also time to spare. The menu caters to every appetite. Choices include our popular premium salads, healthy homemade soups, an impressive array of sandwiches, Mexican dishes, Seafood, and much more.

When dinner time arrives we aim to please. We give our signature baby back ribs special attention, slow-cooking them to perfection, then we top them with a sweet BBQ sauce. Rated by our customers as the best in the area, we think you’ll agree.

Another Gavel favorite is the Key West Chicken; juicy breasts marinated in our flavorful, homemade sauce. The dinner menu also includes scrumptious seafood, delicious pastas, marvelous Mexican dishes, fresh hand-cut steaks, Certified Angus burgers, tasty sandwiches and more. Finish a delicious meal with one of our delectable desserts, such as our famous fudge nut brownie; a housemade brownie topped with a scoop of premium vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, chocolate sauce, whipped cream and topped with a cherry...delish!

The Gavel Restaurant and Lounge is your "HAPPY HOUR" headquarters. All of our tasty appetizers and drink specials are 1/2 off between 4-6 pm Monday through Saturday. Our comfortable lounge boasts large plasma TV’s, keno, awesome drink specials, numerous beer choices, and a pleasing selection of wine.
